Terms of use

By accessing and using the Website and Services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement and accept all of its terms. If you do not agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement, you are not authorised to use the Website and Services.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing an order in our online shop.

The prices shown on the product cards in the online shop include VAT, but do not include any delivery costs.

Accuracy of data

Sometimes the website may contain information that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to availability, promotions and offers. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information on the Website or Services is incorrect at any time without notice (including after the order has been placed). We do not undertake to update, amend or clarify the information on the website, including price information, other than as required by law.

Arctila Architects Ltd owns full copyright to everything distributed and sold (now and in the future) on this website. Please do not copy anything you see here or on our social channels, thank you.

All trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with the Website and Services are trademarks or registered trademarks of Arkkitehdit Arctila Oy or its licensors. Your use of the Website and Services does not grant you any right or license to reproduce or otherwise use any Arkkitehdit Arctila Oy or third party trademarks.

Guarantee disclaimer

We always make sure that the materials we use are of high quality and we only supply high quality products. We insure all shipments, so if something should happen to your artwork during transport between our studio and your destination, you don’t have to worry about the cost. Once you have received the artwork and accepted the shipment, we do not issue additional guarantees for the products purchased.

Please note that all artworks are mounted on natural materials (wooden frames) and some warping may occur. This is usually due to changes in room temperature and humidity. Contact your local carpenter/framer for help in these situations.

Changes and additions

We reserve the right to change this Agreement or the terms and conditions of the Website and Services at any time, effective when an updated version of this Agreement is posted on the Website. When we make changes, we will check the updated date at the bottom of this page. Your continued use of the Website and Services after such changes constitutes your consent to such changes.

ORDERING AND DELIVERY

We process deliveries in the order in which they are received into our system. The order confirmation we send you by email indicates that your order has been successfully registered in our system.

We aim to pack and dispatch ordered products within 2-5 working days of receiving your order. If the delivery time is significantly delayed, we will contact you as soon as possible.

We offer worldwide delivery.

The duration of delivery depends on the country of destination. Estimated delivery time in Finland is 2-7 business days and 1-2 weeks for international delivery.

Our aim is to get your artwork safely to its destination – all shipments are insured.

If your painting has a lot of texture, you don’t have to worry about cracking – I always pack my paintings in the safest possible way.

Please note that any additional shipping costs (customs, VAT, etc.) are the responsibility of the buyer/consignee!

Prices include delivery + handling and are automatically added at checkout based on your location. Please note that it is the recipient’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of the transmission information provided. We are not responsible for failed shipments due to missing or incomplete information.

DELIVERY METHODS & COSTS

The delivery cost is determined by the value, weight and volume of the order. The delivery cost is also affected by the size of the product. When you place an order, you will see the final delivery date for your order.

All paintings will be delivered by Post or Matkahuolto. Orders are normally delivered within 2-5 working days after the painting has been packed and handed over for delivery.

Posti keeps parcels for 7 days, both in its offices and at its parcel terminals – please check the last possible pick-up time on the pick-up notification you receive from Posti. If you do not pick up your parcel within the time period specified by the Post Office, it will be automatically sent back to our warehouse by the Post Office.

We will charge a fee of €20 for any parcel returned uncollected to cover our return and handling costs.

EU-MAAT:

Depending on the country of destination, the artwork will be delivered to the address provided via DHL or UPS. We’ll give you a tracking number when your painting is dispatched, so you can follow your art on its way to you.

Big: 50€

OUTSIDE THE EU

(USA, UK, Australia, Asia, etc.):

The artwork will be delivered to you via DHL or UPS. We’ll give you a tracking number when your painting is dispatched, so you can follow your art on its way to you.

Delivery costs:

Small: 30€

Average price: 30 €

PAYMENT METHODS AND PRICING

You can pay in our online shop using online payments from the most common domestic banks, (Mastercard, Visa, American Express & Discover), PayPal, Mobile Pay and via invoice. If you wish to pay by invoice, please let us know and we will send you an invoice to the email address of your choice.

Original works: 10% VAT

Prints: 24% VAT

  • Online bank payments: from our online shop, you will be redirected directly to your bank to make a secure payment.
  • MasterCard and Visa: You can pay in our online shop with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Debit MasterCard. Our online store uses international Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode authentication services. Card payments are made securely using a secure payment form, and no payment card details are stored in our online store systems.
  • MobilePay: a mobile app-based service that allows you to pay either by credit transfer from your account or by card payment from your card by accepting a payment in that app.

To ensure your security, your data is transmitted to us over an SSL/TLS secure connection.

We reserve the right to change products and product prices at any time. We also reserve the right to refuse your order.

RETURN OF PRODUCTS THAT HAVE BEEN DELIVERED

We hope that the product(s) you order are to your liking. However, if you wish to return the goods, we offer a 14-day right of return for products ordered from our online shop, starting from the day you received the goods.

When returning products, they must be in their original condition, i.e. free of defects and unused. Products must have all original product tags attached. We will not refund products that are not in resaleable condition. If the returned product is not fit for sale, the customer is responsible for the cost of having the returned product sent back to them.

The customer is responsible for the return costs. Please note that we will not refund any original shipping costs for the order in the event of a return.
