News about our recent discovery in the field of cooperation!
We are pleased to announce that in cooperation with AttoVerde Oy, we have developed an inspiring, important and new service model, which allows us to combine our architectural design expertise with decades of research and experience in sustainable, circular and energy-efficient construction in an even more concrete way.
From the outset, our values have emphasised the importance of the environment and nature as a fundamental pillar underpinning our well-being, design and ideology from many perspectives. A value so relevant to us that has guided our architecture and our quest for knowledge from the very beginning. But we said again; we need more of this to make it enough!
Over the past year, we have been able to dive even deeper into what respect for the environment and nature in architecture and construction can mean at its best, and what habits, approaches and tools we already have today. During our discussions we have asked ourselves; why are we not making more use of these already? There is a lot of talk, but marginal change. Still too much of our construction is repeating the same pattern of once learned principles and lessons that are both environmentally and humanly damaging.
As a result of the collaboration that has begun, we have been able to listen to and absorb knowledge from AttoVerde’s pioneers, whose expertise on the subject is a bottomless well and an inexhaustible source.
AttoVerde Oy is an expert and pioneer in circular economy value construction, specialising in the supply of energy-saving, sustainable and circular economy building systems.
We’ve gotten into some mind-blowingly inspiring discussions about building a future that’s actually already here. The environment is changing and with it, construction is increasingly being steered in a more environmentally conscious direction. Of course, this feels challenging at times; yet again more changes and things to learn to do differently than before. But all this is of paramount importance to all of us and, above all, inevitable. The earlier the new pieces are adopted, the easier it is to follow the change. In the rest of the world, this change is already more tangible. In Finland too, we need pioneers, inspiring debate, cooperation, courage and a strong sense of purpose. That is why we will be even more conscious of these ideas in our own planning and work.
Going forward, we will be even more prepared to design new compliant renovation and new construction projects for customers in accordance with circular economy value building specifications, and all this will be supported by AttoVerde Oy’s people with a strong knowledge base in bio-based product solutions.

Inspired by this topic, we are inspired to learn more. We are among the first architects to take up the challenge of this expert role. Soon it will be commonplace, but the sooner the better. It is about people, health and our nature.
We will also be launching a number of information packages on different topics in more detail in the form of articles during the year. The overarching theme will of course be value-based construction and the well-being of the environment, nature and people.

We have found a source where data has been collected and researched for decades and needless to say, we want to be part of it. We believe that by working together we can create a new future. This is definitely Arctila’s vision and we see that there is potential for strengthening our action on both sides, up to the wildest visions.
